Our next run will be into the beautiful backwoods of the Tamron Rocky Mountain Region, on the road from 6/18 - 6/29! We are going to put some proper miles on our National Car Rental vehicle for this one. If you haven't already checked out the event posting for our annual butterfly shoot with The Butterfly Haven Idaho and Yellowstone Camera Store, head to the events tab to learn about it!
We'll also be at the Yellowstone Camera Store location for three days, 6/22 - 6/24! We will have the latest glass in the ever expanding Tamron Americas catalog and we'll be offering both firmware updates and optical therapy to weary travelers :) If the weather holds, we do anticipate heading into the park for a night shoot or two. You are most welcome to join us!
After West, we'll be headed to Wyoming Camera Outfitters - Jackson 6/26 and 6/27! Travis and his crew are well situated in the midst of Jackson, WY and it will be very good to see them. If the weather holds, we'll be east of the hole shooting the wild horses on 6/28! Check in at the shop while we're there :)
We don't get to see our rural, back country stores often enough so do take advantage of our visits! Very much looking forward to seeing you all out there.
Swallowtail captured at The Butterfly Haven Idaho with the egregiously underrated Tamron A069 50-300 VC VXD 1:2 Macro at 87mm opened to f/7.1 for 1/125s at ISO 400. Handheld.
Blowout Jetty Campground launch, a fabulous local secret find along the Snake River, captured at sunset with the Tamron A074 28-300 VC VXD at 34mm opened to f/11 for 4min at ISO 100.
Tripod and Breakthrough Photography 10stop ND most definitely in play.
We've had the busiest first half in the history of my 11 years with Tamron. Extraordinary. Thanks to all of you for your inspiration and support! See you in the field 😎 - Marc
