Clarissa was celebrating her birthday on the coast of LA and we caught her flying dress moment in rose gold, slow motion, dress lifting with the wind. Right in the middle of the shot, a seagull flew straight through the frame, wings wide open, gliding right alongside her like it belonged there. It gave the whole video this wild, cinematic energy, like the ocean itself joined the celebration.

You never know what surprises we will have on these experiences, monk seals, seagulls, rainbows, we’re here for them all!

Today we’re thinking of one of the boldest women who ever lived. Dolly Parton spent her whole life proving that dreaming big and living loud is worth every risk it takes.

Tracy captured that same spirit this morning in her red flying dress — because life is too short to sit on the sidelines out of fear. The people who never try never know what they were capable of. The ones who leap, who twirl, who put themselves out there in living color — those are the ones who actually live.

As the sky turned gold and the dress caught the wind, we got to witness her reclaim her power, one shot at a time. This wasn’t just a photoshoot, it was a sunrise celebration of survival, strength, and everything still ahead of her.

Lily was nervous when we started. Stiff shoulders, careful smile — the kind of nervous that makes sense when you’re 15 and everyone’s watching. So we slowed down. A few minutes in, something shifted. She stopped posing and started moving. By the time the magenta dress caught the wind, she was laughing, not performing.

That’s the shift we’re actually chasing. Not the perfect first shot — the one after she forgets the camera’s there.

Jeff didn’t have to be in these photos. He chose to be.

Amanda booked her family the sunrise experience, and her husband Jeff showed up, dressed the part and was ready to get in the frame with her and their daughters. No standing off to the side, no waiting in the car. Just “all in” for his family.

That kind of support is what makes mornings like this so special.

However, the biggest compliment our team can ever receive — is when a client loves our experience so much and they feel called to join us and provide these experiences for women in their hometowns. That’s exactly what happened with Amanda. She’s now our photographer in Charlotte, North Carolina!
