I want to say how incredibly grateful I am for the support this little photography business has received from our community. ❤️
I have been fortunate enough to receive wonderful reviews, kind words, and great references from the families and seniors I've had the opportunity to photograph. That means more to me than I can really put into words.
The Dragonfly Lens is something I do because I genuinely love photography. I work full-time in a kindergarten classroom, so photography is something I fit into my evenings and weekends. I don't have a studio full of props, an enormous collection of equipment, or a business that I rely on to pay my bills.
And honestly, I like keeping it that way.
I keep my pricing small and accessible because I want families, seniors, and members of our community to have the opportunity to have beautiful photographs without feeling like professional photography is completely out of reach.
There are some incredibly talented professional photographers out there, and I have so much respect for them. Their photography is their livelihood, and they deserve to charge accordingly. I don't want to compete with those businesses or take away from the incredible work they do.
I simply want to offer something a little different.
A simple, affordable option for people who might otherwise say, “We can't afford professional photos.”
If I can photograph your family, capture your senior year, celebrate a birthday, document a milestone, or simply give you photographs that you'll treasure for years to come and make it accessible while I'm doing something I love then that's exactly what I hope to continue doing. ❤️
Thank you to everyone who has trusted me, supported my little business, shared my work, left a review, recommended me to a friend, or simply cheered me on.
I truly hope The Dragonfly Lens can continue being a little piece of the community where beautiful photography is accessible to everyone. 🦋📸
