Some Senior Sessions just happen at exactly the right time.
With Dana’s incredibly busy schedule at Alamosa High School and her many extracurricular activities, we honestly felt lucky to squeeze this session in when we did because the colors around Del Norte, Colorado were absolutely unreal. The landscape was showing off in every direction. The soft desert tones, wide open scenery, golden brush, and rich earthy colors of the San Luis Valley created such an incredible atmosphere for the first part of her Southern Colorado Senior Pictures.
A huge thank you to Brandy Sawyer for generously allowing us to photograph on her beautiful property. It created such a stunning setting for Dana’s Senior Session.
Then for the second half of the session, we moved along the Rio Grande River, where the trees were exploding with Fall color in the most beautiful way. It felt like two completely different worlds wrapped into one evening.
Dana brought such a strong, driven energy to her session. The kind of person who already seems focused on where she is headed while still fully embracing the season she is living in right now. There is a determination about her that makes it easy to believe she is going to accomplish some truly amazing things in life.
One of the sweetest things about the evening was quietly seeing the love and support surrounding her throughout the session. You can tell she has people beside her who genuinely believe in her, encourage her, and are cheering her on every step of the way, and that kind of foundation is powerful.
We are so grateful we had the opportunity to photograph this moment for you, Dana. Keep chasing big goals, keep trusting yourself, and never lose that driven spirit that makes you uniquely you. Your story is only getting started.
