Using Willow Go wearables to pump, Medela wipes to clean the parts, and Ceres Chill to store the milk. (The “trifecta!”)

Spring engagement session tip:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌸 If your engagement session is in mid-April, I highly recommend choosing a location that has cherry blossoms! The pink or white blossoms look so soft and ethereal when they’re in the background or foreground of a photo.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌹 If your session is in late May/early June, try to find a park or garden with peonies or roses!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

2025 was the year of “figuring it out” and really catching our stride. Things are about to look different around here yet again with Baby #2 but I’m excited to see what 2026 has in store!

I’ve been meaning to write a “follow up” blog post to the one I wrote when I was pregnant with Summit, all about what it’s like juggling a wedding business and motherhood. Stay tuned! (Maybe that’ll be my maternity leave project I work on during those nights of interrupted sleep 😅👶)

Also accepting any and all tips about what it’s like to be a parent of two little ones!

Bows, pearls, and the prettiest shades of pink filled the room at Trata on the River for Julia’s Baby Shower, celebrating the imminent arrival of their baby girl this winter.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Upon arrival, guests were greeted with the most color-scheme-appropriate mocktails and sangria. At each place setting, Julia had pre-written a thoughtful and sentimental note to each guest, thanking them and explaining how much they mean to the parents-to-be.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In between some fun games, guests were invited up to get “Endlessly Linked” at a custom permanent jewelry station and enjoyed a sampling of Trata’s signature mediterranean appetizers and entrees.

On their way out, guests filled a bag with sweet treats from the custom candy cart.

I’m always thrilled when a couple requests to do a mountaintop engagement session. When Samantha and Brian asked to have their engagement photos taken at Little Stony Point in Cold Spring, I knew it was going to be a gorgeous shoot, but their lovey-dovey chemistry and glowing smiles (despite the cold wind) made the photos that much more beautiful!
