As we celebrate our nation’s 250th Independence Day, I hope we’re all reminded of the brave men and women who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedom.

The members of every branch of our Armed Forces sacrifice far more than their lives. They sacrifice their mental, physical, and emotional well-being. They miss birthdays, holidays, milestones, and precious moments with their families so that we can enjoy the freedoms we often take for granted.

Today, as we celebrate, let’s also take a moment to honor those who have served, those who continue to serve, and the families who make sacrifices alongside them. Thank you for your courage, your dedication, and your unwavering commitment to our country.
