Can't say a Canadian Goose is my ideal subject, but it is what I found when these massive snowflakes started falling. I just had to capture them! It felt good to get out and take photos! I need to be in the habit of always taking my camera with me. More to come!

I'm getting back into the swing of things with my photography business. Let me know if you want to book a session!! My normal rates were $75 for a session. Since I haven't been doing much lately I am running a promotion. For any session scheduled before 6/15/15 it will be $65 for a 2 hour session, all images taken on a disc with 20 images edited. Location within the twin cities, as many wardrobe changes as you want. And this would be for an outdoor session for now. Weekends are the only open times for now.

If I've ever taken pics for you, I'm going through and purging pictures so if for some reason you've lost a disc of pics or didn't save them, contact me so I can write a new disc. Im having problems with my computer saving to an external hard drive but working on my computer now, so might not have any issues but just in case.

I saw this posted by another photographer. I haven't been doing a whole lot of sessions this past year, but I would like to help.

The Olivia Act, named after one of the children killed in Newtown, Ct., was started by a photographer who wishes to remain anonymous. Olivia’s family had family pictures taken a short time before she was killed. Those pictures are precious and now priceless to them. Upon hearing this, this photographer was moved to give away a 30 minute family photo shoot and has challenged other photographers to do the same. We go about our daily lives and sometimes we don’t take the time or have the resources to have family photos taken.

I will be taking nominations for a family who you think would appreciate this gift. The family must live near Twin Cities, MN. This session will take place any time after the New Year. I will be taking Nominations until December 31, 2012. Please email their name, contact information and a brief summary of why you chose them to [email protected] and put "THE OLIVIA ACT NOMINATION" in the subject line. The chosen family will be contacted via email, so please include their contact information with the nomination. Please do not post their information here.
