Have you ever wondered why your Dachshund disappears beneath every blanket? Burrowing is a natural instinct! Dachshunds were originally bred to follow badgers and other animals into underground tunnels.

Blankets and cozy beds recreate that warm, enclosed feeling, helping many Dachshunds feel safe and relaxed. Just remember to check blankets before sitting down—you never know when a little we**ie dog may be hiding underneath! 🐶❤️

🐾 Kennel Training Update! 🐾

Our babies were introduced to kennel training this week, and they’re doing an amazing job! They’re also making great progress with using their designated potty area. ❤️

When introduced slowly and positively, a kennel can become a puppy’s safe and comfortable space for sleeping, relaxing, and taking quiet breaks. Kennel training can also support potty training, encourage healthy routines, prevent unsafe chewing, and help puppies feel more secure when they cannot be supervised.

Starting early gives our puppies a gentle introduction to structure and boundaries while helping them build confidence and independence. We’re so proud of how well these little ones are learning! 🐶💕

Our babies have been introduced to pellet litter training and are learning to use a designated potty area. They’re doing such a great job!

Starting potty training early helps puppies develop consistent bathroom habits and become comfortable with a daily routine. It also builds confidence, reduces stress, and helps make the transition into their new homes a little easier.

These smart little babies are already building the foundation for a lifetime of good habits! ❤️🐶
