It's not every day the world's largest steam engine comes rolling through town, so I spent some time thinking about what kind of photo ops I could get. Then it hit me.

Union Pacific’s No. 4014, better known as "Big Boy," is the world’s largest operating steam locomotive. Built in 1941, this 1.2-million-pound, 7,000-horsepower behemoth is undertaking a historic coast-to-coast tour to celebrate America's 250th anniversary, featuring major display events and whistle-stops across the eastern United States.

Megan and Dave weren't about to let a little (or a lot) of rain ruin their special day. Every detail of the day was absolutely magical, from getting ready at the Main Street Inn, to the beautiful ceremony the Christ Episcopal Church, to the stunning reception at The Main Place (with decorations by the amazingly talented Carney's Event & Wedding Decor Rentals.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:

Effective immediately, Sundays will no longer be part of my regular business hours.

I preach that everyone needs time off to recharge and relax -- it is time I start taking my own advice.

Sundays are now reserved as a day off so I can maintain a sustainable schedule and continue providing the level of service my clients expect.

If you must have a Sunday session, a 50% premium will be applied. (This fee will not apply to those who already have sessions scheduled.

Additionally, I will not be responding to emails, Facebook messages, or inquiries on Sundays. Messages received on Sundays will be returned during normal business hours.

As my business has grown, it has become necessary to establish clear boundaries around my availability. These changes allow me to protect my time, avoid burnout, and continue offering high-quality service to all of my clients.

Breena is graduating from Alfred State College with her associate’s degree, and we celebrated with a photo shoot at the college farm, surrounded by animals, sunshine, and plenty of smiles!

And yes… her adorable pet bunny showed up in a cap and gown, because obviously no graduation is complete without your best furry friend by your side.

From on-campus spots to farmyard fun, this session was full of personality, laughter, and a whole lot of heart.

I have lots of tricks up my sleeve to make couples laugh (and smile naturally) during their photo shoots. None of them were necessary for Rachel and Ronald during their engagement session at Letchworth State Park Sunday evening.

The couple smiled and laughed throughout the entire session -- the happiness and love radiated from both of them as they returned to where Ron asked Rachel to marry him just a few months ago.
