Ladies and Gentlemen, the moment you have waited for is here! It's time for us to announce our 2023 The Ancient and Mystic Krewe of Tootsie Roll Marching Band Grand Champion!

This year's lineup of bands did not make it easy! The performances by all of the outstanding bands, near and far, made our task even more difficult.

We would sincerely like to thank each band that stopped and performed in our competition. We hope to continue to grow this tradition annually!

Remember, each band is judged on Participation, Creativity, Music, Marching, and Crowd Response while on our competition grounds.

One band stood slightly taller than the rest this year. You could see in the musicians' faces the eagerness to perform in the competition. At each appearance in our competition, they played with excitement and outstanding musical ability. They looked sharp, kept in step and covered down!

You’ll have to help us reach our Grand Champions as they are currently performing in Universal Studios Florida representing our area!

Without further adieu, The Ancient and Mystic Krewe of Tootsie Roll is pleased to announce that the 2023 Grand Champion is the Marching Sensation from the Brave Reservation! H. L. Bourgeois High School / Friends of the H.L. Bourgeois High School Band, Inc!

Congratulations to the Band Directors, Staff, Parents, Colorguard, and young Musicians of the Marching Sensation! We are excited to see you take the streets with our Grand Champion Banner in 2024!
