If you're on the fence about doing a bridal session, don't be.

You get extra time in your dress.

You get beautiful portraits without a wedding day timeline.

And if we're being honest, most brides don't mind having an excuse to wear the dress twice. Not to mention it's a wonderful trial run for makeup, hair, and learning how to move in your dress.

We explored Jungle Gardens chasing good light, stopping at bridges, flowers, and giant oak trees along the way. Add two people who clearly adore each other, and you have got photographer catnip.

Today's (and probably all summer's) editing schedule has been brought to you by Louisiana weather.

Because I edit on a desktop storms mean everything gets powered down. I know *way* too many people whose homes have been hit by lightning and electronics got fried during a storm. That's not a gamble I'm taking.

Could I keep working?
Maybe.

Will I?
Nope.
