Since having my daughter, I’ve been trying to find my way back into photography. It hasn’t been easy finding consistency, getting into a routine, or even remembering to charge my batteries (mom brain is real 😅).

During this maternity shoot, I completely spaced on charging them, and this sweet mama showed me so much grace. It was such a reminder that kindness really does go a long way.

Coming back to this creative side of me has been messy and slow, but it’s also been full of moments like this honest, imperfect, and real.

🍂 Fall in Houston might sound cozy… until you step outside and realize it’s still basically summer 😅 That’s why I’ve been loving studio sessions lately — air conditioning, fun props, perfect lighting, and endless creative options. It really makes a difference!

But if your heart is set on an outdoor shoot, no worries — I just recommend early mornings or golden hour so we don’t melt out there ☀️

I’ve been in and out of photography since having baby Ellie, and every time I pick up my camera again, I’m reminded just how much I love it 🤍

There was a time when studio sessions really intimidated me — I’d overthink lighting, posing, everything. But lately, it’s been clicking. I’ve grown more confident with my camera, more connected to my clients, and shoots like this remind me how far I’ve come. Grateful for the journey and the mamas who trust me to capture these moments 🤍📸

Capturing the love and beauty of this amazing couple was such a joy!

Coming back from maternity leave has been…interesting! It’s been a challenge balancing it all, but I’m so excited to be getting back into the swing of things.

As many of you know, I’m a full-time teacher, but I’ve decided that next year, I won’t be returning to teaching. I’m excited to focus more on photography, take on more clients, and maybe even do a giveaway soon! Stay tuned! 📸✨
