Life moves quick. It feels like just yesterday I welcomed my first Brand Rep team but it also feels like forever ago now. So much has changed since I began this adventure. Never did I imagine having a team wear my jersey week in and week out, representing and celebrating a brand that I’ve built from the ground up. Let alone three of them!!!
This team and these girls entered my life when I needed them the most. Looking back, it was a dark and dull season of my life. A relationship I never wanted to walk away from was coming to an end, my job was draining the life out of me & my mental health was declining. My cup was just about empty and it was time to find my spark again.
My girls became the fuel to get my passion back and little did I know how much the Heath + Co. Brand Rep team would blow up, over the next three seasons. To have over 50 high school girls across the area apply to represent me, meant the absolute world! I realized very quickly it wasn’t about me, it was about making sure these girls never doubted their worth and always had a full cup— even on hard days. Because the sun will always shine and the difficult seasons are just that… a season.
I found me, again. I became happy again. The light made its way through the darkness. We cried during the sad moments, laughed through the good ones. I had a hype squad that supported me & stood beside me, through all the change that would happen over these last 18 months.
I remind the girls to never settle, don’t conform to society, stand up for yourself, walk away from situations that are hurting you, care about the people around you and do your best every day. My biggest hope is that I was someone they could look up to and show them that even the ugliest parts of your life are still part of the story.
Heath + Co. was never about me, it’s about the community and dozens of stories we’ve told along the way. I figured it was fitting that our last shoot ever was in honor of someone who tells stories in every song he writes. This is The Great Divide— an acknowledgment of the past, the reality of going through pain & difficult moments, drift that occurs over time and healing in the end.
This might be the end of the Brand Rep team’s chapter but the story isn’t done. Their story goes here. Your story goes here. And it’s always been and always will be. Thank you for coming along with me on this journey. It meant more than you could ever imagine.
With all my love, Trinity 🤍🕊️🍃🪽
