Get your smile ready - kicks off this Sunday, March 10th with an open studio photo session at Chamber Member Soneja Creative LLC, located at the Dakota Lofts (711 William St, Houston). Participants will pose in front of a brand new backdrop, provide us with three words about what Pride means to them, and have their Show Your Pride photo featured as part of our Pride Month Celebration! The session takes place 11AM - 3PM and will be by appointment only, so reserve your spot ASAP as these slots will fill up quickly!

What does “Families With Pride” look like you might ask?

They look like your next door neighbors, your favorite local mom and pop business, your child’s new best friend’s family.

"Families with Pride" can be seen as a symbol of the LGBTQ+ rights movement and signifies the visibility and affirmation of LGBTQ+ individuals and their families within society.

It’s almost Pride weekend! Join us at the 2nd annual Families with Pride with Councilmember and the for a fun day this Saturday from 9am-12pm.

With so many activities to choose from, and the many amazing sponsor tents throughout the park, be ready for a day of endless FUN with the family.

The two unique features about the Show Your Pride photos are the three individual words that we add to your picture, but the other is the uniqueness of YOU. Capturing your personality, the essence, what makes you you! When someone looks at these photos of you, we want them to say “Wow, that’s absolutely you”.

That’s what Pride is about- being yourself, authentic and real. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

We hope you are living your best authentic self, and if not, we hope your journey takes you there.

Human! Such a small word, but it is an intricate tapestry of consciousness, purpose, and interconnectedness. It is a ceaseless journey of self-discovery, where we unravel the mysteries of our existence.

We have the ability to imagine, dream, and manifest those dreams into reality.

But most importantly, we have the ability to be kind- to one another, and also to ourselves. This year, choose humanity.

Pride means to be “Human”.

The first Show Your Pride photo of a great photographer himself, Dalton, a man who needs no introduction. We’ve all smiled when he pointed his camera towards us, at every event imaginable in Houston. Thank you for everything you do!

in collaboration with .creative started this campaign to capture, through photography, individuals in the LGBTQ+ and Allied community leading up to and through Pride Month to celebrate the vibrant community, including LGBTQ+ businesses, Members, Corporate Partners, and more in Houston and the region. The campaign will include three words for each participant answering, "What Pride Means to Me".
