Congratulations to one of my favorite YES Prep principals, Adrienne Brown, on receiving the 2026 Virani Distinguished School Leader Award! ๐
The award honors exceptional school principals across Greater Houston whose leadership, dedication, and commitment to excellence make a lasting impact on their school communities.
Iโve had the honor and privilege of working closely with Adrienne over the past two years to help tell the story of Hobby Secondaryโs Founding Aviators โ the Class of 2026.
The culture she and her teammates have created at Hobby is truly inspiring and contagious. They make the magic happen every single day, and Adrienneโs passion and belief in every Aviator is so easy to capture because of the way students look up to her and know they can always turn to her. She is the kind of principal we all wish we had and the kind of leader Houston students need.
Adrienne champions each and every student, and that belief has helped spark incredible results. Earlier this month, Hobby earned an A rating from the TEA โ an accomplishment made possible by the collective effort of the entire campus community and a leader who relentlessly believes that Aviators can fly high, no matter what.
Congratulations, Adrienne! Thank you for all you do for YES Prep and the Hobby Aviators. Iโm so excited to see what yโall accomplish next! โ๏ธ๐๐
