This event was built with one simple idea in mind: when a community comes together, something magical happens. It was a night to celebrate family, give back, and build a stronger Houston community. I felt so lucky to crash the party as a mom and document year one of what’s sure to become an incredible annual tradition! My kiddos had the best time. Watching nearly 200 girls dance their hearts out, hand in hand with their dads and father figures, had me teary behind the camera more than once. The joy was palpable.
Through their partnership with , the night became more than a dance. The funds raised support scholarships, volunteer training, and expansion into more local schools. GOTR empowers girls to build emotional and physical strength through mentorship, movement, and life skills, making this more than a magical night out and a true investment in the next generation of strong, joyful, empowered young women.
