I got the pleasure of taking this super sweet family’s newborn photos for both of their children. Being able to be apart of one’s family photo journey and seeing those newborn babies as full blown kids is so amazing and wild. I absolutely loved watching this family grow!

Just a few days old and already so much personality! I love being able to take pictures of those first moments. But I also love capturing a new moms first few days with her baby. That’s something no mom will ever forget and it’s always such an honor for first time moms and dads to allow me into that vulnerable space and help document that huge milestone not only for their little one but for them as well!

Running wild and free through the trees at . No worries, just the joy of being together in a field of Christmas tree like some little fairies! These moments are so simple and pure. There is still time to book in time to get those cards out for Christmas! But don’t wait too much longer!! 🌲✨

I got to take some maternity photos of my little sister and I feel so old! 😅 but seriously! How beautiful is she?! I love every photos of her and I’m so excited to meet the newest addition!

October 15th is Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness. Evelyn passed away at just two days old. I never imagined in a million years that this is something that I would experience. But since that day I have met countless mothers and fathers who have also suffered this same loss.

I have a particular little girl in mind today. Her name is Valencia. She was only expected to live a few hours and God gave her a month on this earth. She got to go home with her mother and I will never forget this little girl and her mother.

I got into photography because I have very few photos of Evelyn. I never realized just how important photos were until she was gone and now I dedicate my time to capturing photos to last multiple lifetime. For my children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Our most recent camping trip was cut short after the kids woke up under the weather. Despite not feeling great, we made a 3.5 mile hike up to the scenic lookout. Just living our best life.
