HUGE week filled with service to@our community! Purse Bingo for Creative Dreams Outreach Center, Lunch for Child Advocates, coffee talk with Bikes and Bagels, cemetery clean up with exchangeclubofsugarland and finally, telling folx about veteranshalloffortbend!! Oh.... and of course we worked tailgate my son's marching band before the football game. Xoxox

Watching my son, my husband and my dad talk about their service, the past, the future of their service.....I felt overwhelming joy, and pride....... and humor at the playful teasing mixed with the stories of hardship and accomplishment.......

• The “Old Guard” and the “Young Bucks” have different experiences, different stories, and different perspectives—but there is tremendous wisdom and strength in bringing them together. Veterans’ Hall will create opportunities for generations to share stories, memories, knowledge, and encouragement......and maybe some playful ribbing about who had it harder. 😉
• Because sometimes the person who needs a little encouragement today will be the person giving it to someone else tomorrow.

Have Camera-Will Travel! As ever. This passed week, blessed and grateful to get the opportunity to step back in time....not to the 1980's this time.....but the 1940s!!! Check out just a FEW images of this charming New Hampshire lakeside home (coming soon to AirBandB). This home has SO MUCH history in every room, at your fingertips, everywhere you look. The books.....OH THE BOOKS! The library of National Geographic! It's easy tom imagine the family sitting by the radio or out on the porch. The family bought the property in the 1920s from those who built it in 1903! Seriously.....if you want to imagine what it was like "back then".........here's a visual peek! The creek in the floors, the smell of the wood and the opening of the shutters. The LOONS....oh my goodness the LOONS.....what a magical place!

The Salute To Veterans 7th Annual Dinner was a HOOT! The food was delicious! ELVIS was in the building so obviously he entertainment was very entertaining and we some incredible conversations! Veterans of Foreign Wars VFW
