Houston had a hard freeze right before Christmas, so I brought all of my plant babies(100+) inside to keep them safe. While I was arranging my succs throughout my home, I found a beautiful surprise hanging. This lil guy formed a chrysalis on one of my jade plants. Tangerine emerged right before New Year.

Hello friends and family!
I have a wonderful event I am chairing to help raise funds for Pediatric Cancer. For all of my Team in Training friends out there, Chryl Hoz and I have teamed up to bring ARTcetera Houston back once again. This is the LAST HURRAH! ARTcetera is a live art event with tons of fun for everyone. Join me (and Chryl) out at the Sawyer Yards Silver Street warehouse on September 24, 2022 from 7-10PM.

We have an AMAZING silent auction chocked full of stuff for EVERYONE. If you need some new art pieces...I've got you covered. If you want the chance at winning some 2018 Alexander Valley Cabernet, I've got that covered, too.

The event benefits The Pablove Foundation. Their Shutterbugs photography program teaches kids 6 -18 years living with cancer. I am the Houston Teaching Artist. So, an important part of this event is sharing a few of my students work with you. And you will get to meet some of my Shutterbugs photography students in person! These kiddos are my family. They are cancer warriors and their artwork will be part of the silent auction. I will share some of their work very soon.

Here are some of the photos of Murphy and his mom, Rachel Ransleben. They were the cutest pair ever, The were like peas in a pod. I love seeing rescue find forever homes. Miniature Schnauzer Rescue of Houston is a great organization. If you are looking for a new dog, check them out. You cannot go wrong with a . They are my dog of choice.

I had the pleasure of photographing Murphy, the 2022 calendar cover model for the Miniature Schnauzer Rescue of Houston this past Sunday. He was charming and full of energy. It is always fun to photograph animals, because you never know what to expect. Murphy was the best! So much fun!
