Beach sessions are my favorite for a reason! 🌴🌊☀️📸✨🐚⁠

At the beach, kids aren’t asked to sit still. They’re free to run, dig, splash in the ocean, and just do their thing.⁠
⁠
It turns into play, not posing, and that’s where the sweetest moments (and cutest photos) happen.⁠
⁠
As a photographer, I’m not trying to over direct anything at the beach (or ever!). I just follow what’s naturally unfolding, with a little gentle guidance when needed.⁠
⁠
And yes, the end result is always beautiful on a wall. But what matters most to me is that the experience feels like something you want to remember forever, not just something you went through for photos.⁠

Motherhood is not just the sweet, quiet moments (though those are my favorite to capture). It is also the chaos, the exhaustion, the never really sitting down 😂, and still showing up again the next day.⁠

How was I just taking her 1st birthday photos… like yesterday?!

This is the part that always gets me. Watching little ones grow up right in front of you and suddenly they’re talking more, smiling differently, showing their personality in the sweetest ways.

Getting to see these babies turn into little kids and be there to capture it each time is truly the best.
