✨ P E R S P E C T I V E S ..

Grand opening day at Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists’ NASA Parkway ER hospital , and I’m here photographing my own work on their walls. A full-circle moment I didn’t see coming.

Seven years ago, GCVS began displaying my pet portraits (over 100 of them!) in their main hospital. That trust and partnership has now led to this: a space-inspired pet photo collection created specifically for their new location, where my work gets to be part of this very special healing & life-saving space.

These portraits mean something different depending on who’s looking: comfort & sweet distraction for pet parents in the waiting room, daily inspiration for the veterinary team, and for the employees whose own pets made it onto these walls: pure pride.

For me? It’s gratitude. Gratitude for a partnership that values art as part of the healing process. Thank you for 7 years of trust and for this incredible opportunity to be part of something so meaningful. Getting to witness my work exist exactly where it’s meant to be.. that’s everything. 🤍

🚨🚨🚨 Ridiculously Sweet & Heartfelt Pure Joy Trigger Alert!

I photographed Claudia & Skipper 12 years ago soon after she adopted him.

When her request came in to recreate their feetshot photo, I totally melted. 🤍

“12 years takes a toll on a lil’ body. He’s got arthritis, his eyesight is fading.. what was once a spunky lil’ firecracker.. is now a fragile lil’ old man who slowly walks the house in circles.

And I’ve changed a lot since the first photo too. I don’t care what people think anymore. Those heels were about wanting to be liked and fitting in. Now I dress for me.

Skipper is my soul dog & every day with him has been nothing short of MAGIC.

BTW, This is NOT a tribute post - Skipper is thriving and still doing his daily laps!”
