Representatives from Friends for Life were also onhand to speak to their amazing organization that supports our furry friends. Heights Fools on Stools provided the perfect vibe for the evening. When I photograph dogs at the Houston SPCA, we have a few moments outside in the play yard to do some visiting and bonding before heading indoors to the studio. It’s not unusual to fall in love at least once a week. Today it was with Zen, an 18-month old love bug. She loves cuddles and is generous with the kisses. Thanks to my cohort, Alessandra Albin for the photos.

The Brazosport Art League hosted a lovely reception Friday evening for the artists of Houston Visual Artists Network. Five images of orchids and eucalyptus plants (as you’ve never seen them) comprise my portion of the show. The crowd was great and really engaged with each of the artists. This lovely exhibition will be on display through August 8.
