Portra 400 really is a favorite of mine. I love how I could slightly overexpose to brighten the shadows while still keeping the highlights in the lace crisp and clear. It’s such a reliable choice for capturing accurate skin tones with beautiful, natural saturation and warmth, without any of those muddy undertones you get with digital sensors.

Cheers!! to NEVER giving up on that dress shot!!!

(yeah. I said it 😚)

Why?
Hmmmm because….do you know what it's like going to a million different stores, getting overstimulated, having to hear every ones opinions on what you are going to wear to YOUR wedding, then contemplate your very being because why is it so hard to find a white dress (and why are there twenty shades of white)….and oh YAY you finally found the one you love and it's going to be the best $1,000…errrr $5,000… you’ve ever spent in my life! Except oh wait now you also get to spend months at alterations appointments. 🥲

SO.

In conclusion.

I will always say YES to the dress shot.
(Even if it means climbing on the world’s most unstable surface)

PS - If you only spent $5k after alterations on your dress… What’s it like being God’s favorite?!
