Elevators in the South by alexmcferren Welcome to the official Elevators in the South by alexmcferren page! That is the story of how "Elevators in the South by alexmcferren" started.

Here's where it started: On January 2010, I watched an elevator video made by another elevator photographer named gluse. After I watched the video, I became interested in filming elevators, so I went to my local library on February (Clear Lake City County-Freeman Branch Library) and filmed the ThyssenKrupp Impulse Hydraulic Elevator, although that video was never uploaded on YouTube. Two months later, on April 25, 2010, I ventured back to the same library and filmed the elevators again. This time, it made it on YouTube the same day, because it was a better take than the last one. My YouTube channel was opened on September 19, 2007, but there was no elevator videos until almost three years later.
