It was love at first toot 🎺
Sorry for the terrible joke, but I've been getting to witness this love story since their meet cute at TMEA this past March - and I take partial responsibility for it.
See, what happened was, Brenda was getting a free portrait done by yours truly at the Bell Trumpets booth at TMEA 2026, but was borrowing a horn from the display. I told her that she should get a mouthpiece because it looks a little silly to pretend to play a trumpet without a mouthpiece. Brenda leapt up and disappeared, but reappeared with a mouthpiece a moment later and we took some awesome shots.
Little did I know, Keith was shopping the booth when he heard this blonde beauty ask if anyone had an extra mouthpiece she could borrow. Keith is a renown trumpet player, so of course he had an extra one on hand, but asked if he could have her number in return.
The rest is not quite history, but a beautiful, musical love story in the making. And, lucky for me, I get to be on the sidelines and still occasionally bossing them around on how to hold their instruments for photos 🎺😍🥰
