I was getting a glimpse of their most cherished moments, and I couldn't help creating stories to go with the photographs in my mind and creating my own ideas of what their memories were while looking at these captured moments. Capturing moments and turning them into memories is my ultimate purpose in what I do. This is one of the reasons why I believe in minimal editing, as I believe it is important to honor the memories for what they are/were. I love to get to know my clients so that I can capture their authentic selves and genuinely show who they are. To do this, I find it best to keep things as natural as possible. Let's capture what you actually do; whether that be hiking and exploring, drinking coffee or a cocktail at your favorite local joint "where everybody knows your name", hanging out at home, visiting the place where you first met/went on your first date/got engaged, etc. Basically, I want to capture YOU.
