It’s and I’m digging into the archives for this one ! 📸 The day I caught Tiffany Derry , Chef Tiffany Derry and Serigne Mbaye , Chef Serigne Mbaye both at the inaugural Honeyland Festival . It was good food, good energy, and apparently good enough that one of Chef Tiffany’s landed in Essence Magazine 💅✨
But forget the throwback, let’s talk about what’s NEXT: both of these incredible chefs are headed to Southern Smoke Foundation ‘s Fest here in Houston in October. Chef Serigne (Michelin Guide honoree + James Beard Foundation award winner 🏆) and Chef Tiffany (MasterChef + Top Chef alum and James Beard award finalist ) are bringing serious star power to the stage. Congratulations doesn’t even cover it 🔥🍽️ Y’all better be ready.

Prom 2026 Send Off ✨🖤💛

Watching my little cousin step into this season with confidence and style was such a proud moment.

Some shoots are beautiful.
Some are personal.
And then there are the ones that sit in your chest a little longer… like a warm song on a Sunday morning. ☀️💛
My baby sister is preparing to welcome her first SONshine, and getting to capture this season for her felt sacred in a way words can barely hold. From the soft florals to the denim and sunflowers, every frame carried tenderness, strength, anticipation, and the quiet glow of a woman becoming somebody’s mama. 🌻
Watching your little sister step into motherhood is wild. One minute y’all are laughing until your stomach hurts over childhood memories… the next minute, she’s holding a life inside of her and glowing like Heaven brushed against her skin. 🥹
“Sunshine” by Coco has been floating through my spirit with these photos because that’s exactly what this baby feels like:
light after rain, warmth through windows, joy wrapped in tiny hands. ☀️
Can’t wait to meet my nephew.
Our family’s newest little beam of light. 💙✨

Some nights become memories before they’re even over…..
I had the absolute pleasure of capturing the Floetry Presents: The Say Yes Tour featuring Floetry, Raheem DeVaughn, and Teedra Moses… and whew, what a night. From start to finish, the energy was pure nostalgia, soul, and grown-folk magic.
set it OFF with classics like Be Your Girl and You Better Tell Her. Then n came through smooth as ever with Woman and the forever dangerous 😮‍💨 “Customer.” And , Man listen… they closed the night with a set that felt like a warm hug from the 2000s. Butterflies, Sunshine, Say Yes, and of course Floetic had the whole room floating.

What makes this even sweeter is that this was truly a birthday wish come true. Though the show was Saturday, today, I celebrate 39 years around the sun feeling incredibly grateful to still experience moments like this through my lens.
Music. Photography. Purpose. Soul.

started us off with the classics and hit some crazy notes to remind us that the mic was indeed on.
   then gave us a mind blowing masterclass in captivating a crowd with those sultry vocals.
And of course, October London brought the house down with those Mulholland Drive vibes to finish. Sugar Land, you were the perfect backdrop for this magic. 🥂

Last night was an absolute movie !!! I had the esteemed honor of capturing not 1, not 2 , but 3 legendary acts last night on behalf of . , , and finished the last stop on their New Edition Way Tour in only a way that they could! 10/10 experience.
