It’s been 10 years…10 years since I met my husband on match 🤦🏼‍♀️😂

10 years since we went on our first date to Olive Garden and I made some excellent conversation, mentioning that I liked his watch.

We’ve been inseparable ever since. From 4 different apartments in Richmond, 1 move back to Northern VA, and 1 big move to Texas.

We’ve done so much in our 10 years together. But I think the cutie we added in 2021 might be my favorite 🥰

Here’s to many more! 💕

Today I’m extra thankful for the beautiful boy that made me a mama as I remember the embryos/babies we lost too soon 💙

These were just the embryos that we got to implant, the ones that I carried even just for a moment. They could have been our babies that are happy and rolling around on the floor right now but they weren’t meant for a worldly life.

Even though they weren’t around long they were loved and they had a purpose, They led me to their brother, Teddy who is the best little guy and 2 months old now.

Today I remember and thank those sweet babies for giving me the hope to keep going 💙

Finally getting to celebrate some good news after years and years of disappointments. This is an announcement that I honestly never thought I’d get to make. For years I’ve seen pregnancy announcements pop up on my social media feeds on holidays and I would always plan what I would do to announce on the next holiday, and then the next, and the next, until I stopped planning. It’s been a LONG road to get here but I’m finally excited to celebrate some good news.

Baby Navratil is joining the party this August! I still can’t believe it but we are definitely excited! 💕💙💕💙

EXCITING NEWS!!!

I’m so happy to officially share that C and I are now officially the proud parents of 9 little embryos! And to top all that off 5 are PGS normal!

My infertility journey has been wrought with many lows and failures the last few years. After our 2 rounds of egg donor IVF failed we weren’t sure where to turn. We considered what is known as traditional adoption while also considering the possibility of embryo adoption. While my heart was open to traditional adoption, to be honest, we weren’t sure where we would find the $50,000 needed to pursue that route. While we were at that crossroad a sweet couple reached out to us with an offer to donate their remaining embryos to us. This amazing couple has a beautiful family of their own and they knew their family was complete. They had heard of our struggles and wanted to provide us with a little more hope. Once I wrapped my head around the possibility that these embabies could actually make me a mama, we just knew this was the route we were meant to go.

Once we decided that this was going to be our route it was a whirlwind of doctor’s appointments, psychological evaluations, and lawyer contract negotiations. But I’m so happy to say that as of Aug. 28th they officially became Navratil embryos!

After a few setbacks with a cyst I’m happy to say we finally get to start prepping for a transfer this Sunday. We are over the moon excited at the possibility that one of these embryos will become our baby!

And to our donor couple... we wouldn’t be here without you! Your selfless act has given us hope again. You will always hold a special place in our hearts! ❤️

I see you. I hear you. I love you. I’m sorry. Black lives matter! 💕🖤💕

Celebrating our anniversary by having a lil mini getaway! It’s been super nice to get out of town for a little bit and feel a little bit like normal! We came to one of our favorite places in Texas and we are going to our absolute favorite place for dinner. All in all, I’d call it a great day! 💕

SUPER EXCITED!!! I just launched my first campaign to support our IVF and egg donor journey!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Infertility is incredibly expensive, and we were lucky to have some insurance coverage for our first 3 cycles. Every little bit helps, that’s for sure! However, as we entered the donor realm of IVF the costs shot up and the coverage disappeared.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We are currently prepping to transfer our one and only donor egg embryo. It’s all we have left after 12 donor eggs, 3 IVF cycles, and 2 failed transfers.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Love makes a family, the quote on all the apparel, has a special meaning to me. Infertility has already robbed me of a lot and I had to learn to accept that if I ever had a baby we wouldn’t share DNA. And while I know that DNA is important I also know that I would love a child that doesn’t share my DNA just as much as I would love a child that does share it. Because at the end of the day, the most important thing is LOVE. So, this quote has become somewhat of a battle cry as we fight to build our family.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The proceeds that we receive will be going right back into our IVF journey. And believe me when I say we will be incredibly grateful for each and every purchase!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I have to give a huge shout out to Maghon from for hand lettering the design for me. The apparel wouldn’t be half as gorgeous without her incredible talent. Thank you, Maghon!!!💕
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There are lots of designs and colors for purchase! Just head to the link in my profile to place your order!!! I love you all!!!🧡🍍

Happy 1 year anniversary to this beautiful couple!!! I was so honored to be able to capture their day surrounded by their closest family and friends!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I will also remember it fondly due to the fact that I shot it the day after our first egg retrieval at our new clinic. Thank goodness recovery was much easier than my first egg retrieval! And so thankful for sweet friends who understood what I was going through.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We were all honestly just glad that I could still be there to capture their special day!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s so important to have true friends who are understanding to what it’s like to go through infertility!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So, Happy one year anniversary friends! Thank you for understanding and thank you for letting me be a part of your special day! 💕

It’s the start of National Infertility Awareness Week (NIAW)! A week dedicated to bring awareness to the 1 in 8, the one in eight women that struggle to conceive naturally.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In the picture are my 2 embryos, sadly neither was the “little embryo that could”. Both of these babies were transferred to me but neither one resulted in a pregnancy. I did 3 IVF cycles that included lots of medications and injections, and these are the only embryos that can out of that journey.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
No one tells you that IVF isn’t a sure thing. No one really tells you the emotional toll it’s going to take when you get a negative pregnancy test after a 2 week wait and doing everything the doctor told you to do.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Infertility makes you into a warrior. You go through things that before you went through it you would be sure you could never do it. And then you do it again. You become willing to do whatever it takes if it gives you the chance to one day have a baby.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The women who have gone through infertility are some of the most amazing people I have met. Every story unique but always filled with fire and hope. It’s certainly a club no one asked to be in but one thing is for sure, it’s the Worst Club with the Best Members.

Sorry it’s been so long since you’ve seen my face on this little square! Things have been crazy. Last month I got a sinus infection that I thought I could self treat, well let’s just say it got way worse and I ended up having to go get antibiotics and spend 4 days in bed. But luckily I’m on the mend and finally feeling so much better!
If you saw my story you know that we are anxiously awaiting our next transfer! All my checks so far have been good, which is welcome news. Now we wait for those eggs to thaw and fertilize and hope and pray that we get some embabies this round!
