Safe travel is always a blessing, especially now, and it's a good reminder to give folks a little grace. But for me, the mission is bigger than just getting from point A to point B. It's about finding that jaw-dropping location for a client, that perfect spot that makes their vision undeniable.

My creative brain never turns off, even here! I'm on a perpetual hunt, seeing potential everywhere. If you know what I mean, you know. I can't wait to show you what we create. 📸🍋

I was out today, soaking up this incredible weather and honestly, just feeling the vibe of the city. What most people don't realize about photography isn't just taking a great picture; it's about seeing stories in every corner and finding the perfect frame before anyone even steps in front of the lens. This is what it looks like when I'm scouting out those unforgettable spots for senior graduation photos.

You know how sometimes you fall back in love with the sheer simplicity of something, really appreciating the art of creation and the process of seeing? That’s exactly how I feel with my new Fujifilm. It’s not just another camera in my collection, it's about going back to what truly matters: capturing the world around me, the stories unfolding, the small moments that make life so rich.

The sleek silver design and those subtle pops of red feel incredibly intentional, reminding me that even the everyday can be an act of artistry. I'm taking this beauty with me everywhere, ready to tell new stories, so stay tuned for the images from this new phase of my photographic journey. If you're ready to capture your own story, even simpler than you thought possible, send me a DM and let's talk about how to make that happen.

What stories are YOU waiting to tell?

There were so many signature moments at the . As I reflect and go through the photo collection, these are the first ones I want to bring forward because I really am proud of these captures and proud of myself as a photographer.

The ability to suspend a moment and convey meaning is a special gift, and one that I will continue to share with others. It has become my mission.

For those who were in attendance, you will recognize these moments clearly, but for those who were not able to attend, please know that there were so many pivotal times where we just inhaled, exhaled, laughed, cried, hugged, and bent over in laughter.

When someone steps in front of my camera, I don’t expect them to know how to pose. That is my responsibility. I guide every detail.

Here I asked him to turn slightly away from the camera and adjust his cuff slowly so his hands had a natural movement. The gaze off to the side was intentional. I wanted the frame to feel composed and self-assured, not performative. Directions like this remove the awkwardness people often feel during a shoot. Once that pressure disappears, people warm up, become 'themselves', and the portrait begins to reflect who they are.

Most people think if they dislike a photo of themselves, it means they just don’t look good in pictures. Most of the time, the problem is the photo. Bad lighting, awkward angles, and no direction can make anyone look off. Photography doesn’t just record what’s there; it interprets it. When a portrait is created with intention, it can show something completely different: clarity, presence, and confidence. That’s the difference between a picture and a portrait. If you’ve been wanting photos that actually feel like you, reach out and let’s talk.

Art is the creative expression made visible for others to see, and tonight, I enjoyed the end of Black History Month by celebrating with Parlor Social Club's Art Exhibit / VIP Showing and Live Music Experience.

With two floors of art photos and installations, we toured hallways and rooms filled with painted images and depictions of natural hair (styles), cultural essentials, and the iconic... beauty salon chair. Both floors featured Live DJs, followed by a model walkthrough and a sax player, guitarist, bass player, and spoken word segment.

To be honest, the hair, makeup, and outfits worn by the attendees were just as iconic as the exhibits. Tres Chic!

Wonderful Venue, atmosphere, and gathering of friends. And Oh, it was good to see you (all again).

Here are a few snaps that I took to remember the moment and the event, especially in my pursuit for positive appreciation and cultural representation.

There is something special to be said about a woman who follows their dreams, who stands on their own two feet and stays in their lane, pursuing their passions determinately.

Please meet Patricia. She's my best friend, distinguished and accomplished in her own way. Today, I celebrate her for the publication of her second book, which is probably her first love. In this book, she honors the legacy given to her by her grandmother, a humble Jamaican woman who grew herbs and vegetables from the ground on the island of Jamaica and instilled in Patricia a love for plants and health.

It's funny how your entire life can take you in circles only for you to find your true purpose again. From the streets of New York City to the home garden in Atlanta, Georgia, she has gone from being a vegan chef to an executive chef at a well-known hotel chain to a garden consultant, book author, speaker, and moderator. Patricia, I celebrate this moment in your life, and I celebrate you. I thank you also for including my images in your publication.

Tea With Lemon Co has been rocking with you for 6+ years throughout your enterprising business marketing efforts, and more than that, I honor you as my best friend, and I'm so thankful.

Congratulations! I'm delighted, and as I said, I want two copies. I hope to see you soon. I hope travel lets us connect soon.
