When someone recently asked me if I was still doing sessions I knew I had gotten real bad about posting. I had taken a little hiatus from socials the last New Year and perhaps I let it go on a little too long. Decided I’d get back on and start sharing and what a beautiful session I started the New Year with this year! Sessions like this fill my soul.

Have you met Mel? She is my person! My bestest lifelong friend, my mentor, my confidant. We share a love for our Nana, art, thrifting, food, beer, plants, photography and all things creative really. She’s ten years older than me (NOT old enough to be my mother…just sayin’) and I have always looked up to her and adored her. She taught me how to be a mom. She taught me how to be a photographer. She’s fun, daring, bold and adventurous. Her extroversion rounds out my introversion. Our children are best friends and love each other as much as we do. In a few short weeks, she is coming out to lead a photography workshop with me focused on bringing FUN into family sessions. I cannot wait for everyone to get to experience this with us and get to see her talent in action as I have had the privilege to witness all these years! If you have not checked out our upcoming FUN & GAMES Workshop, I highly recommend you do. It will be like none other! It will be creative, different, unique, chaotic & WILD! Come witness the action for yourself! We will incorporate the greenhouse, newspaper & church pew and end the session with a family PIZZA party picnic. All before we have a pizza party ourselves to follow. This really is not one to miss!
