As autumn sets in, a breathtaking transformation takes over the landscape. Trees, now ablaze with hues of fiery red, burnt orange, and golden yellow, line the shore of the Devil's Lake. Each leaf reflects a unique shade, intensified by the low autumn sunlight. The air feels crisp yet calming, as if each breeze knows it carries the scent of a fleeting season.
This scene captures more than just the colors of fall; it embodies the gentle beauty and fleeting nature of the season. Just as the train travels on, autumn will also give way to winter, leaving us with memories of vibrant landscapes and serene moments by the lake.

Here, we don’t need anything fancy. Just you, me, a couple of cups, and all the moments we’ve missed. We’ll laugh until it hurts, share secrets like we’re the only ones who matter, and let the world drift away. The table is set for the best kind of gathering—the kind where we’re reminded of what it means to feel close, to share, to just be.

Ait Benhaddou is a historic kasbah (fortified village), a traditional pre-Saharan habitat made of clay in Morocco. It’s situated between Marrakesh and the Sahara in the province of Ouarzazate in the Atlas mountains. It was built in the 11th century, reconstructed in the 17th century, and became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the 1980s.

It’s one of the most unreal places I’ve seen in my life. It feels like you stepped out of reality and you are in a movie. No wonder, why so many great movies and series were made there such as Game of Thrones, Gladiator, and Lawerence of Arabia.

Photographing the Northern Lights at Montrose Harbor Beacon was a surreal experience for me that combined the beauty of nature with the charm of one of Chicago’s most iconic spots. Watching the Aurora Borealis light up the night sky with shades of green, purple, and blue above the beacon felt like I was witnessing a rare, ethereal show. The way the vibrant colors reflected on the water and illuminated the surrounding area was simply breathtaking.
Throughout the shoot, I felt a profound connection to the powerful energy of the aurora, and I’ve worked to convey that feeling in every image. The challenge was not only to capture the brilliant colors and swirling patterns but also to balance them with the background. These are scenes I never imagined witnessing here in Chicago, and they’ve been some of my favorite moments to photograph.

Capturing the northern lights last night was a breathtaking experience. As the sky erupted in vibrant shades of green, pink, and violet, I felt like I was witnessing a masterpiece unfold in real time. Each image I captured seemed to hold a unique blend of colors and swirling patterns, making every photo feel special. Yet, as beautiful as the lights were, choosing a favorite image has been nearly impossible.

Sorting through the photos, I noticed how each shot told its own story. Some images captured the more intense, vivid arcs as they danced rapidly across the sky, while others showed subtle, soft waves gently illuminating the horizon. There were moments when the lights intertwined with the stars, creating a magical canvas that felt almost otherworldly.

Every photo seemed to embody a different aspect of the experience, making it incredibly hard to pick just one favorite. Was it the photo with the bright green curtains of light that won my heart, or the serene shot of the lights reflecting off a nearby lake? In the end, I realized that each picture is a favorite in its own way, a piece of an unforgettable night.

Šeduvos malūnas- Šeduva mill

The beginning of the Šeduva mill is 1905... Then it was started to be built. As if haunted by some kind of spell, the mill, still under construction, caught fire, we almost lost it during the war (it was badly damaged). However, the mill was never forgotten - in the Soviet years (1967) it became a place of entertainment. For several years, the mill was abandoned, left to the will of fate.

The Flåm Railway is one of Norway’s most popular tourist attractions and is regularly voted one of the world’s best train journeys.
The 20 kilometer long train ride shows off Norwegian nature at its most beautiful and magnificent, and is a masterpiece of Norwegian engineering. The Flåm Railway is one of the world’s steepest stretches of line on normal tracks and is renowned for its spectacular turning tunnels that wind in and out of the mountains. 18 of the 20 tunnels on the Flåm Railway were constructed by hand.
With rivers cutting through deep ravines, waterfalls tumbling down precipitous mountainsides, white peaks with small farms clinging to steep slopes, a journey on the Flåm Railway is a trip through Norwegian nature.
The train ride takes you past the wild and beautiful Kjosfossen waterfall. The train stops here so you can get some air, enjoy the view and photograph the mighty waterfall. Look closely and you may even catch a glimpse of a Huldra, a mythical creature with an incredible singing voice.
