I can’t believe fall is already around the corner!

I’m going to miss these warm summer evenings spent with beautiful couples who inspire me every single day. One thing I’m not mad about, though, is the cozy nights ahead and all the magic that comes with fall ☺️

Throwing it back to my yearly session with R&M, which is always such a blast. I absolutely love getting to work with these two year after year! Unfortunately, neither of us was able to make it happen this year, so I guess we’ll just have to go BIG next year!

I know, I know… summer isn’t over yet, but before I know it, I’ll be diving into the busiest season of my life, and for that, I’m so incredibly grateful.

This year has been challenging in so many ways, especially stepping into my first year full-time. But if there’s one thing this season has taught me, it’s to slow down, be present, and really soak in the moments that are happening right in front of me.

So here’s your reminder (and honestly, mine too) to enjoy the season you’re in 🫶🏻

A little preview into Fiona & James’ beautiful day 🤍

A beautiful summer evening to close out July, filled with so much love, laughter, and the people who mean the most to them. From the very beginning of the day, it was so clear how meant to be these two are. The way they look at each other, the way they bring out the best in one another, and the way their closest friends and family surrounded them with so much love was something truly special to witness.

Their wedding day was a beautiful reminder of what it means to be celebrated by the people who love you most. Every hug, every laugh, every happy tear showed just how much they mean to the people around them.

And somehow, through a little corner of the internet, I found Fiona on TikTok, and I’m so grateful 🥹🤍

If getting ready photos are important to you, stick around

Your wedding morning isn’t just the time before the “real” part of the day starts. It’s part of your wedding story and how your day truly begins.

The ch*****ne with your girls. Your mom helping with your jewelry. Your dress hanging and you and your girls admiring it. The reactions when you’re finally ready. The soft moments before everything begins.

If those are the moments you want captured, we need to give them time. This is why I always encourage my couples to tell me what they actually want prioritized on their wedding morning, not to tell me what their sister or cousin did at their wedding.

If getting ready photos are important to you, we’ll build in extra time so it is captured intentionally and comfortably.

Your timeline should reflect what matters most to you, because there’s no reason to rush through the moments you’ll want to remember most.

So when we build your timeline, don’t just ask yourself, “What time does my photographer need to arrive?”…. Ask yourself, “How much of my morning do I actually want documented?”

I was so excited when I got the call from Kyle to plan another special session for him and Alex. Kyle and I actually met during my very first corporate job, so getting to witness and capture these milestones for them over the years has been truly special, an honor doesn’t even begin to describe it

I’m so thrilled for Kyle and Alex as they prepare to welcome their baby boy. There is nothing more beautiful than watching a family grow, and I cannot wait to see the love they will surround him with 🫶🏻
