A shot I never thought I'd get and in our backyard, no less! I came home from work to visit the owl that had been hanging around low in the trees for the past few days and then we spotted this little fella poking out of a tree. It was just his head at first and then he got more comfortable over time. There were 2 but this one was the confident one out of the bunch. The claws on this guy were seriously impressive! They've since left the nest and flying around on their own. It was a beautiful week spent with these amazing animals.

This mama owl was very calm and loved to stay nice and low, almost eye level which treated me to some amazing angles for these head shot portraits! I went from not having any photos of Barred Owls to have enough for a photo book! They're still around but the babies have left the nest and already in the tree tops. Some shots of the babies are to come!

For the past couple of years, I've heard a pair of owls deep in the woods and never saw them. Maybe just a blur in the forest. Until last week when this beauty emerged from her hidding. She was low, front and center and very at peace with our presence right in the backyard. I'd never been so close to a wild Barred Owl and boy have I been lucky. I've seen her almost every morning and night now for the past week. I couldnt figure out why she was hanging around the same trees until the other night. Stay tuned to see what else we found!

A beautiful summer scene from last year in Gloucester! I had a hunch one day after work that the skies were going to pop off so I rolled the dice on a location I've never been to and boy was I glad I took the chance! It was one of the most amazing sunsets I'd ever seen!

We had an awesome weekend up in Tilton at the Lakes Region Spring Craft Fair! I want to thank everyone for coming out and it was awesome to meet , thank you for the support, buddy!

Chest deep in Lake Winnipesaukee on a warm summer night listening to the echoing calls of a loon family as the sun was melting behind the southern White Mountains. There was a touch of wildfire smoke in the sky that made the light red and vibrant. A very relaxing and memorable New Hampshire night!

A moonrise from the past. This was my first moon alignment and it automatically got me hooked. I've since fallen in love with planning locations and studying moon rise and set cycles. My nemesis continues to be heavy cloud cover on the horizon. Sometimes it adds to the image like it did with this shot!

One of my favorite lesser known spots around the Portland Maine area. I was surrounded by homes but this little sliver of beach made it feel like I was in a distant paradise.

This weekend in Tilton NH at the Lakes Region Spring Craft Fair, this photo will be available in several print sizes and even metal print! Join me and many other vendors 10am-5pm on Saturday the 16th and 10am-4pm on Sunday the 17th!

One of my all time favorite shots from last May when this Loon popped up from a swimming just feet from my kayak! The gentle mist and beautiful greens from the pine trees from the background islands really topped it off for me.

Hello everyone! Long time no post! Life has been in total overdrive for me in the best ways imaginable! I'll be getting married in late June and welcoming our baby in October. I'm also so lucky to be working with so many amazing wedding clients through the summer and fall and I can not wait!

But in the meantime, in just TWO WEEKS, I'll be having my only print show of the year on May 16th and 17th in Tilton NH at the Tanger Outlets, same place as last fall! I'll have some new prints, limited framed prints, and PUZZLES along with my 4x6 and 8x12 matted prints! Its been beautiful weather lately so come spend it with us in the Lakes region among other artists! Come say hi to my beautiful bride to be and I!

The view that I've always dreamt of photographing! In December, me and my fiance made a trip to the city for my first time and we jammed as many landmarks into the short weekend as we could. This is a view I'd absolutely love to visit again, maybe with a burning sunset! Let me know what you think! I have many more from this trip!
