Some weddings are extra special, and Jon & Stefanie’s was one of them. ❤️

This wedding took me back home to Illinois, where I had the honor of capturing two old friends from high school as they became Mr. & Mrs. Krumme.

From the moment I arrived, it felt less like work and more like celebrating alongside people I’ve known for years. Their lakeside ceremony was filled with happy tears, laughter, colorful blooms, and so much genuine joy. Every detail reflected who they are, from the vibrant florals and personalized touches to the sweetest moments shared with their pup.

One of my favorite things about Jon and Stefanie is how effortlessly they make each other smile. Whether they were walking hand-in-hand along the dock, sharing a quiet moment by the water, or celebrating on the dance floor surrounded by their favorite people, you could feel just how excited they were to start this next chapter together.

Traveling from Michigan back to Illinois to document their day was such an honor, and being trusted to preserve these memories for friends I’ve known for so many years means more than I can put into words.

Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Krumme. Thank you for allowing me to be part of such a beautiful day. Wishing you a lifetime of lake days, laughter, adventures, and a love that only continues to grow. 🤍✨

One of my favorite things about photography is creating experiences, not just photos.

These Paint Sessions have quickly become one of the most memorable sessions I’ve ever offered. There is something so special about watching little ones create, play, laugh, and completely be themselves. No pressure. No posing perfectly. Just genuine moments and lots of colorful fun.

And the best part? The canvas they create during their session goes home with them as a keepsake. A piece of artwork filled with memories from this season of life.

After seeing how much families have loved these, I’ve decided to add TWO more dates this summer: one in July and one in August!

If you’ve been looking for something a little different than traditional photos, this might just be my favorite session of the year.

Honestly, these are the kinds of memories I wish I could bottle up forever. 🤍🎨

Some seasons of life deserve to be remembered exactly as they are.

The giggles, the tiny hands reaching for mom and dad, the curious little faces, and the way your babies look at you like you’re their whole world. These are the moments that feel ordinary now but will mean everything years from today.

This sweet family spent the evening simply loving on each other, and honestly, that’s what family photos are all about. Not perfect poses. Not perfect smiles. Just connection, laughter, and preserving this season before it changes.

One day these little ones won’t fit in your arms quite so easily. Until then, let’s document every beautiful moment of it.

One year of Bennett ✨

It feels like just yesterday he was a tiny newborn in his mama’s arms, and now here he is celebrating his first birthday with cake-covered fingers, the sweetest little smile, and his biggest fan right by his side.

Watching Olivia love on her baby brother throughout this session was enough to melt my heart. From the cuddles before the cake smash to helping him dig into his birthday cake, these are the moments that make first birthday sessions so special. 🤍

Bennett may have been the birthday boy, but it’s safe to say Olivia made sure he knew he was loved every second of the way.

Happy First Birthday, Bennett! Here’s to a year full of milestones, messy hands, big laughs, and so many memories still to come. 🎂✨

These photos have me counting down the days until my Red, White & Cute Minis! 🇺🇸❤️

One of my favorite things about photographing little ones is that no two sessions are ever the same. Some kids are all smiles, some are busy waving flags, some are running in every direction, and some give me those serious little faces that end up being everyone’s favorite photo. 😂

Looking through these images reminded me why I love creating fun seasonal setups. It’s not about perfect poses… it’s about capturing this season of life exactly as it is. The missing teeth, the chubby toddler hands, the shy smiles, the wild energy, and all the little moments you’ll miss someday.

I already know these sessions are going to be filled with laughter, chaos, and some seriously adorable photos, and I cannot wait to see all the sweet kiddos who step in front of my camera. ❤️🤍💙
