✏️📚⚾️⚽️🏊‍♂️Back to school and back to ALL the things! Baseball, soccer, swimming… and somehow there’s still time for school! This guy does it all and brought plenty of personality to his first back-to-school session with me.

A little late on sharing some back-to-school favorites, but these were too sweet not to post. ❤️📚
This was their first time in front of my camera, and their mom told me she had been hoping for years to find someone who offered back-to-school photos like these. Seeing how much this simple little session meant to her made it pretty special for me, too.
And these two? They made my job easy. Those smiles, that sibling sweetness, and a brand-new school year ahead. ❤️
Here’s to 1st grade, 4th grade, and all the adventures this year will bring! ✏️📚

There are some kids I’ve had the privilege of watching grow up through the other side of my camera, and this one is especially hard to believe. ❤️
I first photographed this sweet girl for her first day of first grade—little backpack, missing teeth, big bow and all. Year after year, I’ve watched her grow, change, and become more and more herself.
And now somehow… she’s starting HIGH SCHOOL. 🥹
That little first grader has grown into such a wonderful young woman. She is intelligent, interesting, athletic, kind, funny, and completely her own person. She has so many talents and interests, and I’ve loved getting little glimpses over the years of the person she is becoming.
One of my favorite things about photographing children year after year is realizing that somewhere along the way, you stop simply documenting how much they’ve grown. You start getting to see who they are becoming.
As you begin this next chapter, I hope you try new things, work hard, have fun, find the people and places that make you happy, and keep being exactly who you are.
Four years of high school are waiting for you—and after that, the entire world. ❤️
Happy first day of high school! Class of 2030, here she comes!

✨ Hello, sophomore year! ✨
A new school year, a fresh start, and another year of memories waiting to be made!

I had so much fun with this gorgeous AHS sophomore for her back-to-school mini. She brought the sweetest smile, the cutest dress, and just the right amount of personality to her session. 💕

Wishing her—and all of the students heading back today—a wonderful first day of school and an amazing year ahead!

🎓 Her Last First Day. ❤️💙

There are so many “firsts” we photograph as our kids grow up—the first day of preschool, kindergarten, middle school, high school…And then, somehow, we arrive at the last first day. 🥹

I loved getting to document this sweet senior milestone before she begins her final year. And of course, bringing her four-legged best friend along made it even more special. 🐾

Here’s to senior year, Class of 2027! ❤️💙
One last first day…and a whole year of memories still ahead.
