Just a simple close up shot of the newly waning moon through my 6" schmidt cassegrain telescope. The first of my finished astrophotography images but certainly not the last. It still surprises me just how much of a different challenge this type of photography is but between the challenge and the amazing views I gotta say I'm hooked.
