I had the honor of capturing something truly amazing. LITE Recovery (Living in Transition Effectively) hosted a Recovery Walk for individuals who are just beginning their recovery journey, those with loved ones in recovery, and anyone who wanted to learn more about the recovery process.
It was inspiring to see our community come together to show support, encouragement, and hope.

One of the biggest lessons I took away from photographing this event is that recovery takes a family. That family may not always be related by blood, but it is made up of people who walk alongside you, support you, and help you keep moving forward.
