I don't speak a lot on modeling but this moment I'm taking to share the gift I have in this model, my partner, my muse. To comment on the modeling, many models, often times, just have static positions, lifeless faces, depend on the tricks of the atmosphere to make a picture. This one, moves, tries to explore the space, gives face, and she is all the more better for it. This one who doesn't even pursue it, just has fun with it, continues to ease through a craft that some work hard to get to.
Now for me, as a photographer who tries to challenges myself by relying on nothing but light, hue, and composition. I want to remember that color, color toning, and composition is part of a good image as opposed to falling into that trap of slight desaturation or figuring out your composition during the editing process. And to edit only to a standard of that person on their best day, in the best lighting as opposed to the over skin correction and more post processing alterations. Case in point, the last image of this set is the edited and unedited versions and really the only change is increasing the exposure (also blessed to have a love who has fabulous skin). So to my fellow image hunters, keep growing, keep trying the untried, and above all be true to yourself. If you can look at an image you have created and in your heart of hearts you unbiasly love it then you are on the right track. If you are just pursuing the trends then you are already behind. We create, we imagine and try to capture that imagination in a hundredth of a second. We grow.
