🏆 CHAMPIONS🏆

⚡️The Top Prospects (Class of 2033) delivered a dominant championship day on Sunday, going a perfect 3-0 and earning those hard-fought championship rings 💍 They exploded for a 19-4 victory over the Southern Ohio Stingers, highlighted by Tucker P’s perfect 3-for-3 day, a strong outing for Quest B and an incredible 14-run first inning. In a thriller against the Blennerhassett Bears, they clung to a 10-9 victory after building a 5-run lead, with Tucker again going 3-for-4 and the offense collecting 11 hits. They capped the day with a strong 12-5 championship win under the lights, powered by River R’s 3-for-3 performance, 16 team hits (four players with 3 hits each), and Liam W’s dominant 2 inning, 5 strikeout gem. Across the three games, the squad racked up an impressive 41 hits, swiped 36 bases, and showed both explosive offense and clutch pitching. Future stars in the making ⚡️

⚡️Class of 2033 just announced their arrival!
These boys are built different, they are young studs who play hard, compete harder, and bring the energy every single pitch. You can catch them in action again this weekend at Hurricane Bridge Park. I am proud of this squad, they was respectful, energetic and FULL OF DRIP⚡️

⚡️The Riverside baseball team opened their gates Monday hosting the Lincoln County Panthers in what marked their first true home game of the young season. The Warriors showed plenty of fight and offensive firepower, but ultimately came up just short in extra innings, falling 7-5 to the Panthers. Levi Osborne and Logon Tudor provided the biggest sparks at the plate for Riverside, each collecting two hits on the afternoon. Their timely hitting helped keep the Warriors in the game through a back and forth contest. On the mound, Jayden Sparkman turned in a strong outing, striking out 9 batters while allowing just 4 hits over 5 innings of work. Sparkman and the rest of the Riverside pitching staff kept the Panthers in check for much of the game, but Lincoln County managed to push across the deciding runs in the extra frames. Despite the tough extra inning loss, the Warriors remain focused and determined as they continue their season. With promising performances from their hitters and solid pitching, Riverside will look to build momentum and bounce back in upcoming contests. ⚡️

⚾️The DuPont Middle School baseball team recently took on Andrew Jackson Middle School at GoMart Ballpark in Charleston.⚾️

The next generation enjoyed stepping onto the same field where the Charleston Dirty Birds compete. For middle school kids, it was a fun chance to experience a big league ballpark with poster boards, a big screen and a much more unique environment than they were used to. They shared the same diamond with some former MLB stars Ryan Braun, Micheal Brantley, Cole Tucker and even Bryce Harper in their careers. The experience gave the team a cool opportunity to play in a professional style setting and create some fun memories on the field! It was a simple but enjoyable day that many of the kids will remember 🚀

LET ME TELL YOU, it was FAR from a wasted night spent with the Lady Warriors! 🥎

The Riverside Lady Warrior softball team is led by Head Coach Michael Dickerson and is assisted by Rusty Mullins, Emily Moore and Kendal Wingfield.
The starting pitcher on the mound for the Warriors was Freshman Genna Nichols. Nichols finished with 7 strikeouts and only allowed 5 hits. Nichols was later relieved by Junior Lexi Osborne. The game was a absolute thriller, fueled by high powered offense and highlight reel plays. That offense was spearheaded by Riley Smith as she belted two home runs and drove in a whooping nine runs. The shootout found itself all tied up in the bottom of the 7th and the Warriors had ducks on the pond. Stepping up to bat was none other than Riley Smith. Yes you guessed it, the Senior
hits a walkoff grounder to the outfield and the Warriors take home the win over Huntington 11-9!
Riley Smith’s final stat line for the night:
3-5 🔥 2HR’s 🔥 9 RBI’s 🔥 WALK OFF 👑
The Lady Warriors record now sits at a GRITTY 9-4! Lets go girls! 💜🥎
