I’ve been putting off this post in hopes that a miracle would come through but so far no luck. So I need to update on prom pictures. Unfortunately an sd card of mine has gone missing. I have dug through trash, vacuum bags, searched the entire event center over and tore nearly everything I have to pieces searching but still no luck. I switched it out halfway through prom last night and have no idea where it could have gone. It had all of promenade and half of my prom pictures on it. Thankfully I do still have some that were on a second card, and it was a separate photographer taking the pics with the Batmobile so you’ll still have those and I’ll upload the pics and video I do have. I am so incredibly sorry. In 15+ years of taking pics this is the first time I’ve made this mistake. I have cried more today than I knew was possible and made myself absolutely sick. I just feel terrible.
On that note, between this and my lens breaking I feel like I am absolutely being told to take a step back from photography. I will of course still honor all appointments already made and all sessions already purchased. But the mistakes I’m making are not small and I need to take a break. I hope you guys will understand, I hate so much to let those kids down and am still holding out a tiny ray of hope that it will randomly show up somewhere. I am still editing and finishing sessions already taken and have more sessions this month (and future sessions for those that purchased packages) that I will give my all to so please don’t worry if you’ve purchased or scheduled. Thank you all for sticking with me and hopefully being understanding.
