This load has a few bisque for the next glaze load, but the earthenware glaze load is loaded and running. Next I have to glaze the stoneware load and run them in the kiln. Then it will be time for more mother of pearl. Busy busy month. Fingers crossed all goes well.

Everything made it safely across town and into the kiln. Yay! Pretty full. Hopefully I can say the same when I divide it into two glaze loads. Glazing will be a lot of time. So many small fiddly things to glaze. Also so many fun effects and things I want to try. Leave an audiobook suggestion or tv show idea in the comments so I can stay entertained the next week or two while glazing.

Also sold 3 pair of earrings. The first photo was from my very first glaze firing. It was bitter sweet to see it go. I have loved the glaze on it more than any other and it was great to see someone else love it that much too. Definitely some of my favorites I have made so far sold yesterday. But, in truth they are all my favorites. I have loved teaching myself pottery. There is always something fun and new to learn and try.

Had a great market today! My sweet girl came and helped, and Andy helped with set up and clean up. Thankful for the great people that stopped, said hi, and found something they loved. I’m working on filling the kiln again and will have some fun things for fall and Christmas soon. Will let you know a date and time for the next market as soon as I know for sure when it will be. Hope to see you there.

Who knew teaching myself pottery would inspire me to paint more than I have in years? Yes, it is with underglaze on clay, but definitely not what I expected when I started this journey. I do love it though.

I have an order for 16 angel ornaments. I have made 24 so far. Lol
I want her to have choices.
That does mean there will be 8-10 extra available for sale.
I have to make enough other things to fill the kiln first. I’m thinking more soap dishes, jewelry (of course,) and maybe I’ll take some time to make my first slip cast mold for some bulbs. Stay tuned. Message if you have a special request or order.
