I’m finally getting around to sharing one of my last family sessions before maternity leave, and these four were just the sweetest. 🤎

We spent the evening at the Firth River Bottoms, which is one of those locations that is SO pretty this time of year. I’m already excited to see all the changing leaves out there this fall! 🍂

We got lots of sweet family moments, plenty of baby girl snuggles, and then… little man decided he was done with pictures and went to play in the dirt. 😂 He got absolutely covered, and obviously I had to keep taking pictures. They ended up being some of my favorites.

This is exactly why I love family sessions. Yes, we get the pretty, posed photos—but I also want to capture the little personalities, the chaos, and the moments that actually feel like your family.

Okay hi, I’m Kaci! 👋🏻🤍

If you’re new around here, I thought it was probably time we got to know each other a little.

I’m a wife, a boy mom x3, and a photographer who has loved babies for as long as I can remember. 🥰

I actually started taking pictures when I was a teenager. In high school, I saved up my babysitting money and bought myself a DSLR. I immediately started photographing my baby cousins—and I’d sometimes even bring my camera along when I was babysitting so I could practice. 😂

I’ve been photographing babies and families ever since, and now that I have three little boys of my own, I understand even more just how quickly these tiny stages disappear.

Those little toes, sleepy faces, tiny fingers, and all the things you think you’ll remember forever… they really do change so fast.

I’m so grateful that something I’ve loved since I was a teenager has become something I get to share with other families—and that I get to use my skills to preserve these fleeting memories for you. 🤍

So whether you’ve been here forever or you just found me today…

As much as I’m going to miss these slow days, I’m getting so excited to start taking sessions again soon and getting back to doing what I love. 🤍

Currently soaking up all these sweet newborn snuggles before I take some time off to welcome my own little one 🤍

My calendar is more limited than usual over the next few months, and I won’t be taking any sessions during August while we welcome our baby and adjust to life as a family of 5. 🥹

After that, I’ll be easing back into work slowly with limited availability this fall while figuring out life with a newborn myself.

If you’re hoping for a summer or fall newborn session, I’d definitely recommend reaching out sooner rather than later to get on my calendar 🤍
