This Grizzly Mama, "Felicia", is one of a kind; she's been through a LOT, losing cubs and enduring hundreds of "bear" issues living as a popular roadside grizzly in Northwest Wyoming (not in a Park). We are just so grateful for the moments we got to spend with her and these tiny, adorable 2026 COY this May. It was a serendipity gift - absolutely not expected - and an honor to photograph her once again after so many years of watching her! Notice how relaxed they were?!! (We still have hundreds of photos to share, but life gets in the way sometimes - sorry I've been so slow!).

Grizzly Mama "Felicia" sure has beautiful Twin Cubs this year! We were so fortunate to get over an hour of time photographing her during our Spring trip to the mountains this month. It was a long time coming, as wildlife has been scarce so far, but it was so worth all the hours we spent looking for bears! We put 1500 miles on our truck in a week. Grizzlies with cubs are my favorite camera models, but sometimes they are hard to find and they seldom pose well, lol! I think we'll be back in Montana soon; I cannot believe what a gorgeous Spring we are having this year!

We spent last week in Grand Teton National Park on our annual Spring camping trip; we had hoped to see lots of bears and cubs, along with many more wildlife, but after 7 12-hour days and close to 1500 miles looking, we still hadn't seen ANY bears!! Then, our situation totally changed when this Grizzly Sow decided to repeatedly pose for us while we were driving through the wilderness on our last day in Wyoming. This is just the first of hundreds (actually one of the very first 10 pics I took of this beauty with her Twin COY, as she sauntered nearby our parked vehicle!). Note her second tiny cub's nose between her legs, lol!! I haven't even seen all the photos we took, yet, as we just returned home; you are all going to be so tired of bear photos this month from our FB pages, but I promise you you will smile every time you see them.
