Emotional post incoming:

A few years ago, I photographed this sweet family here in Idaho on multiple occasions. Since then they've moved to Montana, but when it came time to document this next chapter, they asked me to make the trip and photograph it. That kind of trust never gets old.

Watching their kids grow, celebrating a new baby on the way, and catching up with them in a field of wildflowers made the drive completely worth it.

Now I'm already counting down the days until I get to head back and meet their newest little one for newborn photos.

This is why I love what I do. It's never just one session—it's getting to be a small part of a family's story as it unfolds. Thank you

My original plan was to do the same set up as the second image of this post that I did for Mother's Day Minis.
