It’s been a while since I’ve shared any photos on here... my apologies, things have been a bit busy lately.

That being said, on my drive home tonight I heard that we’re experiencing a Snow Moon… something I had never heard of before. When I got home, I had to look it up to learn a little more about it.

The Snow Moon is simply the traditional name for February’s full moon, coming from Native American and early colonial naming, referencing the heavy snowfall that typically happens this time of year.

Pretty cool learning something new and being able to capture it at the same time. ❄️🌕

Golden Beach 2025 – Huge Shoutout to the New Crew!

Where do I even begin? The new team at Golden Beach went above and beyond this year—and they deserve way more than just a kudos!

This was hands down the most well-managed I’ve seen the campground in years. From spotless bathrooms to freshly maintained sites, they were on top of everything. Every single day of our trip, I saw crew members trimming weeds, mowing vacant sites, and even hauling trash from campsites just because, in one worker’s words, "I don't want to sit around and do nothing."

Their hard work really made a difference—it felt like the campground was running at its absolute best. And to top it off, the sunsets this year were unreal.

Hats off to the entire Golden Beach crew for your dedication—you made this year’s trip unforgettable!

When I first bought a camera, Pixley Falls was the first place I visited. Today I revisited the falls and the difference in picture quality is incredible!
