Okayyy, this is exactly why I LOVE senior sessions. 🙌

I had so much fun wandering around Downtown Romeo with Grayson for his senior photos. There are so many cool little spots tucked around town, and we definitely took advantage of them!

But can we talk about the 𝗚𝗨𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗥?! 🎸👏

I always tell my seniors to bring something that represents YOU, and Grayson bringing his guitar was perfect. Those ended up being some of my absolute favorites from his session!

Senior pictures don't have to be stiff, awkward, or feel like something you just have to get done. Bring your hobbies. Bring your personality. Bring the things you love. That's what makes your gallery actually feel like YOU.

I've officially narrowed it down — THIS THURSDAY will be my very last day of Sunflower + Wildflower Mini Sessions at Ankley Family Farm!

& before we wrap these up for the year, I had to share this adorable sibling session from this year. 🥹❤️

Four kiddos, a field full of sunflowers, and all those little personalities. (The last one is my favorite) 😂

📸 𝗘𝗗𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗤𝗨𝗘𝗨𝗘 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘!

Just dropping my current editing queue here so everyone waiting on a gallery can see where I’m at!

Busy season is definitely BUSY over here. 😂 Between sessions, weddings, seniors, minis and everything else happening behind the scenes, my computer and I have been spending a LOT of quality time together lately.

𝗠𝘆 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝟯 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲.

I’m working through galleries in the order they were photographed and taking my time with each one. I would much rather give you a gallery I’m proud of than rush through your photos just to get them out the door.

🚨 𝗪𝗘𝗟𝗟… 𝗜’𝗩𝗘 𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗘 𝗜𝗧 𝗔𝗚𝗔𝗜𝗡. 🚨

I have officially 𝗯𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗻 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗪𝗔𝗬 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘄. 😂📸

Apparently, somewhere along the way, I convinced myself that I could homeschool a high schooler AND a 3rd grader, spend weekends at the race track, shovel horse stalls every morning, keep up with my house, be a wife and mom, photograph approximately 472 sessions 😂, AND edit every single gallery within two weeks.

𝗣𝗹𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝘄𝗶𝘀𝘁: 𝗜 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁. 🤣

The last few weeks have been absolutely PACKED with sessions, and while I am SO incredibly thankful to be this busy, I have gotten a little behind on editing.

So, I need to make a small change…

📸 𝗠𝘆 𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝟯 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞𝗦 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲.

I'm so sorry, y'all! ❤️ But I would much rather take the extra time to sit down and give each gallery the attention it deserves than rush through your photos just because I'm trying to beat a deadline.

When you hire me, I want you to get a gallery that I am proud to send you — 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗜 𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗵𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝗳𝗳 𝗺𝘆 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝘀𝘁.

During one of my recent 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗻𝗸𝗹𝗲𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝗙𝗮𝗿𝗺, this girl decided to use her mini to grab a few quick senior pictures… and I am SO glad she did. 🥹

She brought along her Bible, and we made sure to capture something that is so important to her — 𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹. ❤️

And the verse she chose to highlight?

There’s something extra special about documenting that first season as new parents — especially when your little one brings smiles like THIS. 😍🥹 She absolutely stole the show!

And these photos hold an extra little piece of history now, too. They were taken at Indigo Lavender Farm during its final season before closing. 🌿💜

A beautiful location, a sweet little family, and memories from a chapter of life that goes by way too fast.

Their first family portraits as three, captured in a place we’ll never get to photograph again. 🥹💜
