With camera or gun haha. We didn't plan for this. But the shoot was at his house and he was showing me the mount he got for his birthday. Boone shot his first coyote last winter and the mount was a birthday gift. Pretty cool 😎

Thadden is 8!

I took my camera to the fair with us this year. He got to ride a few last year. But, this year, more.

This is the year (we hadn't been since Thad was born), we finally took the kids to Holiday World, thinking Thad was at least big enough and strong enough to ride some of the rides and enjoy the day there. And that he did. I knew he was my wild child. He kept pointing to the tallest roller coaster there and then would point to himself like he wanted to ride it. We, however, have to be pretty selective. He doesn't have much trunk control. We look at each ride and see how it buckles...are we able to ride too, and help support him?....does it whip or jerk too much...etc, etc.... We found him some to ride and he had the best day.

Fast forward to , we were excited that he would be able to have fun again and I decided to bring my camera along since he had turned 8 and I hadn't taken any pictures of him yet.

He had fun and I got a workout in for the day 🥵 He's around 50lbs and I always relate that to.... imagine pushing around a bag of dog food, getting it out of a wheelchair for each ride, standing in line holding it, walking up and placing it in the ride, buckling, then getting it out and putting it back in the wheelchair and pushing it around til you find your next ride 🤣 I was wore out lol.

There's no right or wrong way to get your Senior photos done. Sometimes it's just a senior with their mom, both parents, or mom and grandma. I've even had parents show up and pay and left the rest to me and the senior.

This session, we met at the grandparents' home. I met at least 7 people when I arrived 😊 Grandpa was around moving the tractor and car where we wanted it. I had been working Abby around the tractor, photographing different angles and when I looked up, this is what I saw. It made me smile and I said, wait one sec, I'm gonna get a picture of your family all in the background. Loved her support and their support of one another.

I had a wonderful time hanging out with Abby and her fam on her grandparents' farm. Her Grandpa got out his tractor and old car and moved them around for us. They would have fed me supper too if I would have stuck around long enough to eat! haha
I needed to get back home...but the offer was very much appreciated! 🫶
