Senior year is quickly coming to an end, and I’ve been loving looking back at the beautiful senior sessions from this past fall. 🎓

This one is extra special. I’ve known Sydney since kindergarten, and now she’s graduating Top 25 in her class! Watching her grow into such a gorgeous, kind, and driven young woman has been such a joy, and I’m so excited to see what’s next for her.

Senior sessions are some of my favorite to photograph — celebrating this moment right before life opens up to a whole new chapter.

I’m so grateful for the families and friends who continue to trust me to capture these milestones. It truly means the world. 🤍

Who’s ready for the weekend? 🙌
If you are looking for a kid friendly event, the wonderful Abby Bucher (local teacher, business owner and now author) is having a book signing for her new book, I See.

Tomorrow, Saturday April 12th at Barnes & Noble River Crossing

She was my oldest daughter’s (who is now almost 17) Kindergarten teacher and instrumental in building a warm, engaging classroom and school for all my kids and so many in our community. I learned so much as a parent just witnessing her work with kids.

I’m sure her book is AMAZING! Can’t wait to get my copy!

Over the weekend I had the opportunity to take a workshop with the lovely at our What a great opportunity to learn and meet up with talented photographers!

I have been inspired by her imagery and storytelling in capturing the magic of childhood. Infusing the beauty and humor in life while raising kids… and of course chickens! All with the gorgeous backdrop of the upper peninsula of Michigan (where I was born).

So many of my older photos were inspired by her work. Loved leaving her workshop feeling refreshed and inspired.
