timberline lodge was featured on kubricks rendition of kings “the shining.”

architectures of the lodge used mt hood as inspiration while laying down the foundation of the building. from this, a new architecture style was created: cascadian (named after the cascade mountain range in the PNW.)

lodge owners requested that kubrick NOT depict room 217 as they were concerned they would lose guests. kubrick depicted a fictional room, 237 in the film. ironically, room 217 is the most requested room at the lodge. 😵‍💫🧳

to pick up my camera again has reignited a flame so deep inside of my soul, i am bursting at the seams. i am excited to share with all of you some personal writings, thoughts, & histories of some extraordinary places captured through my photography.

from my photo series called “fearless”,
i captured mt st helens’ dome from a small plane on a hazy sunday morning with my father(s). it was simply magical

the experience was otherworldly. to get to see some of earths most majestic wonders from 20k feet in the air felt like talking to god.

i have hundreds of photos to share that i have kept to myself for the past few years. thank u for reading n reach out if u happen to be struggling. i would love to chat 🤟🏼 x indy 🤠
