Coming up on 1 whole year of the Crabtree wedding weekend and I think I'll think about this day forever and ever? What an honor to capture the whole weekend of Curt and Renee but I'm choosing to showcase the beautiful intimate dinner celebration with their immediate family at Commission Row in Downtown Indianapolis. Food was delicious, the joy was large, and the love was warm.

Grateful doesn't seem to cover it

Mark and Avarie agreed to run around downtown Indianapolis at sunrise with me and it was just the most fun. We explored, we laughed, and we caught up.

Avarie and I grew up playing many hours of club volleyball together and shared many hotel rooms and many many laughs. She was a bridesmaid in my wedding and I now have the honor (!!???) to document her season of engagement and marriage and it makes me cry!!!! She was one of my first models when I started playing with photography in high school so it all feels so full circle.

I feel like I have so much content to catch this page up on! Today I’m sharing a shoot I did in 2025 with where we captured some new branding photos for as well as some shots for one of C&C’s clients!

I love days with Savannah where we get to dream up and try out our creative ideas!! This was fun because we set up a backdrop in the middle of Savannah’s living room and made ourselves our own little studio for the afternoon. 🌷

3UP in Carmel, Indiana was really showing off for Curt + Renee's Day 2 of wedding celebrations. I felt it in all of the details: beautiful blooms, perfect weather, good conversation, and a bubble send-off. A wonderful way to celebrate with all of their friends and family!!

The Crabtrees Wedding Weekend - Day 1 🌷

This is an exceptionally special one for me to share. Back in May, my beautiful cousin Renee got married with an incredible 2-day wedding weekend in Indianapolis and asked me to be there to capture it all.

From getting ready in her childhood home to watching her marry the love of her life in the beautiful Indiana Statehouse, I was on the verge of tears the whole day. As you can see, so was everyone else.

After an intimate ceremony at the Statehouse, we hopped in a limo for a quick ride to eat a wonderful dinner at Commission Row. Afterwards, everyone headed downstairs to be greeted by more friends at Mel’s speakeasy to watch the Pacers beat the Knicks to go to the NBA Finals. (Who happened to be playing next door!!)

It was truly the honor of a lifetime and I love these two DEARLY. I can’t wait to share Day 2

I cannot believe I haven't gotten around to posting this sweet sweet session with Ed + Wendy until just now!! We spent our time running around downtown Nashville embracing the raindrops falling all around us and just had so much fun together.

I mean just look at how precious they are!!

The Shannons — 05.24.25 ♡

Where to even begin! From the spring storm that pushed the arriving guests inside for an impromptu pre-ceremony cocktail hour to the rosiest pink sunset that brought everyone outside later that evening. There was a consistent sense of calm and joy from Ben and Mary Michael that was infectious throughout it all.

A wedding day I’m sure I won’t forget. Not only did Tommy and Kalla welcome me with warmth and welcome, but they taught me more about the significance of living in the moment.

The rain held off for their ceremony at St. Mary of the Seven Sorrows, but then their reception at Hillwood Country Club echoed with tornado warnings and Nash Severe Wx (iykyk) yet they remained invested in the hearts all around them and made it the most special evening with dancing and beautiful toasts from their closest.

From a rainy day in February with the Turner family - a family that my family and I love dearly.
